The ability to create characters and worlds that people identify with never gets old to me. The opportunity to tell stories that resonate with people and create connections is something that I value deeply.

Since 2018, I have written and/or produced various storytelling pieces including commercials, short films and a graphic novel. Both Mean Hakeem and Cold Tea received various festival placements and won several awards. Cold Tea was recently added to CBC/CBC Gem and will be available for viewing in Fall 2023.

In addition, I provide grant writing services for artists. As an artist myself, I understand how challenging it can be to get projects funded. I have created successful grant applications for funding bodies including CADA and the AFA. I work with artists to help bring their vision to life from the initial application through to the final project submission and follow up reporting. I am comfortable working with any project size and have experience creating financial models and budgets to support artist applications.
